Before you bid on one

• Work out a max bid for a specific Nissan Pathfinder lot from its damage, repair cost and resale value, first analysis free
• The Nissan Pathfinder passes its MOT first time in 58.8% of cases, from 5,808 real DVSA tests, below the 76.7% national average - worth budgeting for more than just the crash damage
• A typical DVSA-tested Nissan Pathfinder is first registered around 2009 with about 125,852 miles by its test - check a specific lot's mileage against its age before you bid
• Don't assume this pass rate sets the price - MOT reliability barely predicts salvage price across the site as a whole, and the reason why matters more than the Nissan Pathfinder's own number
• Confirm the write-off category, finance and stolen status for a specific car, 5 credits
• Work out whether repairing beats selling
• Search the individual lots behind these figures (currently paused, see why)
• See which factor moves salvage price the most across the whole dataset
