Weekly Copart research watchlist
Each week Salvage Prophet checks the paginated UK Copart catalogue, applies deterministic vehicle and damage exclusions, and publishes a research shortlist. These lots are candidates for further inspection, not verified profit opportunities or buy recommendations.
What each subscriber lot shows
- The observed lot facts and timestamped current bid
- Published UK Copart buyer fees and conservative VAT treatment
- A provisional repair allowance with low, base and high cases
- A provisional resale range, using matched dealer asking prices when suitable and otherwise a clearly labelled ERV policy range
- Downside, base, upside and combined stress economics, plus a provisional bid ceiling
Evidence and limits
Dealer asking prices are not completed sales. Category discounts and repair allowances have not been validated against repaired resale receipts and invoices. The local photo classifier cannot establish severity, hidden damage or repair cost. Every lot requires physical inspection, an itemised repair quote, confirmed tax treatment and a recheck of the live bid before action.
Freshness and access
The page shows the source observation time and marks a bid snapshot stale after 24 hours. Auction-ended lots are removed, and a weekly edition expires after seven days. The public preview contains three lots without subscriber economics. Prophet Picks shows ranks 81 to 100 and Prophet Trader exclusively shows ranks 1 to 80 through the authenticated feed.
